skin skin sensation

sometimes, particularly at night, when i gently touch someone else's skin, it feels like touching a plasma globe. only on areas of skin that significantly lack hair, but particularly on the forehead. i wonder what this is, my husband said it feels like normal to him though i tell him i feel something strange. it's a really good feeling... like ASMR almost but in my fingertips.
